Brooks Nader proved that even a fashion emergency could not stop her from owning the spotlight.
The model and television personality narrowly avoided a major wardrobe malfunction at the 2026 Fox Upfronts on Monday night while promoting the highly anticipated Baywatch reboot, revealing afterward that her dress unexpectedly broke just moments before she stepped onto the red carpet.
Nader, 29, arrived at the star-studded event in a striking bright red halter minidress — a bold fashion choice that appeared effortless from the outside but came with unexpected behind-the-scenes drama.
Speaking on the red carpet, Nader revealed that the glamorous look almost did not make it to the event intact.
“What a lot of people don’t know is this dress broke in the car two minutes before I pulled up, so I’m sewn in and the zipper isn’t a thing,” she told People.
Despite the near-disaster, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model handled the moment with humor, joking about the chaos surrounding her appearance.
“What would me be without chaos? Makes sense,” Nader added.
Later, the model gave fans an inside look at the fashion emergency by posting photos to her Instagram Stories. Sharing a mirror selfie of the damaged outfit ripped open down the back, she captioned the image: “When you bust out of your dress 4 mins before showtime!!! Classssssicc.”
In another behind-the-scenes snap, Nader documented the repair process as members of her team rushed to salvage the look before the event began.
“We’ve got 4 earth angels sewing me back into this sucker,” she wrote.
The wardrobe mishap came during a major promotional moment for the upcoming Baywatch reboot, in which Nader is set to portray a lifeguard.
Her vibrant red ensemble appeared to pay homage to the iconic red swimsuits famously worn by lifeguards in the original franchise, which became a defining symbol of the hit beach drama.
Nader was not the only cast member embracing the theme. Fellow star Livvy Dunne arrived in a scarlet blazer dress, while actress Shay Mitchell opted for a more casual nod to the franchise in a vintage-inspired T-shirt.
