Gypsy Rose Blanchard is putting rumors to rest about the paternity of her unborn child. Amid speculation surrounding the timeline of her pregnancy, Gypsy clarified that her boyfriend, Ken Urker, is indeed the father of her baby girl, who is due in January 2025.
In a Nov. 5 Instagram post, the Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup star shared a paternity test confirming a 99.9 percent probability of Ken’s paternity.
“Ken is going to be an incredible dad,” Gypsy expressed, adding that they are both thrilled to welcome their daughter.
Since her December release from prison, where she served time for her involvement in her mother Dee Dee Blanchard’s murder, Gypsy has been candid about her life changes.
She first announced her pregnancy in July and has shared updates on her daughter’s development.
In a September YouTube video, Gypsy described her baby’s movements, especially during late evening hours and after she enjoys sweets, which seem to make the baby particularly active.
Gypsy also opened up about the bittersweet feelings she experiences knowing her mother will never meet her granddaughter.
While this reality is difficult, Gypsy finds comfort in the support of her stepmom, Kristy Blanchard, whom she regards as a true mother figure.
“Kristy is going to be Grandma,” she said gratefully.
