Kim Kardashian went all out to celebrate her youngest son, Psalm, who marked his 7th birthday with a vibrant Pokémon-themed party that quickly lit up social media.
Sharing highlights on Instagram, the 45-year-old reality star gave fans a look inside the elaborate celebration, captioning the post: “Pokemon Psalm!”
The birthday carousel opened with a cheerful photo of Kardashian and Psalm posing in front of oversized Poké Ball balloons. The celebrant embraced the theme in a Pikachu T-shirt, black shorts, and Vans sneakers, while Kardashian opted for a relaxed look in a white tank top, jeans, and a gold cross necklace.
The Skims founder transformed the venue into a full Pokémon experience, complete with themed décor including Poké Ball chairs, character cutouts, and a dedicated Pokémon card photo station.
Guests enjoyed a lively atmosphere with a DJ, pool activities, and appearances from life-sized Pokémon characters, including Pikachu, who proved to be a major highlight for the children.
Psalm’s siblings — Saint, 10, Chicago, 8 — were seen enjoying the festivities, along with cousins Dream, True, and Tatum. Chicago and Khloé Kardashian also embraced the theme by wearing Pikachu-inspired outfits.
It remains unclear whether Psalm’s older sister North, 12, attended the celebration.
Kardashian also shared a heartfelt birthday tribute earlier, praising her son’s personality and growth.
“Seven years of loving you and learning from you every single day,” she wrote. “I hope your birthday is filled with lots of Pokémon and dirt bikes. I love you so much!!!! Happy birthday to my forever baby.”
Kanye West and Kardashian welcomed Psalm in May 2019 via surrogate. The former couple, who split in 2021, continue to co-parent their four children.
In a 2024 interview, Kardashian reflected on parenting after their separation, describing the experience as “basically raising four kids by [myself],” highlighting the ongoing challenges of co-parenting in the public eye.
