Reality TV star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi shared a frightening health update with fans on Wednesday, revealing that she has been dealing with abnormal pap smear results and precancerous cells for several years.
The 38-year-old Jersey Shore personality took to TikTok to explain that her latest tests led to a colposcopy and biopsy — procedures she described as “uncomfortable.” She recounted receiving a phone call from her doctor with worrying news: cancerous cells were found on the top of her cervix.
“I’m terrified. It’s scary, but we have to get it done because cervical cancer is nothing to joke about,” Polizzi said, adding that she now requires a cone biopsy under anesthesia for further testing.

The mother of three also discussed the emotional impact of a potential hysterectomy if her next biopsy results come back abnormal. “Obviously I’m done having kids but, as a woman, the thought of getting a hysterectomy is just sad and scary,” she said. “Getting the hysterectomy and then not being able to have kids, I think that’s what’s killing me. But whatever to keep me healthy and safe to be here for my kids that I have now.”

Polizzi shares three children with her husband Jionni LaValle: Lorenzo, 13, Giovanna, 11, and Angelo, 6. She acknowledged feeling scared and anxious, but hopes her openness can help other women facing similar experiences.
The reality star also admitted that she had previously delayed routine checkups out of fear. “The reason why my doctor’s on my ass all the time is because I waited,” she explained. “I waited on my damn appointments because I knew I might not get great results but also because I didn’t want to feel the pain. I didn’t want to deal with the stress of having to deal with all of this.”
