Victoria Jones admitted to being under the influence of cocaine during an arrest several months before her tragic death on New Year’s Day, newly revealed court documents show.
The daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones made the admission to a Napa County sheriff’s deputy during a wellness check on April 26, 2025, according to records obtained by the San Francisco Standard.
Court documents state that officers found a plastic bag containing a white substance, believed to be cocaine, in Jones’ pocket at the time of her arrest. She was booked on suspicion of being under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest. An officer also noted that Jones had dried blood around her nose.
As previously reported, Jones was arrested in April on those charges but later pleaded not guilty.
Earlier incidents involving law enforcement were also detailed in the records. In February 2025, Napa officers were called to Jones’ home following a reported domestic dispute. According to Napa County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Henry Wofford, the caller requested police intervention because they felt the situation was escalating during an argument.
No charges were filed in that case, as the caller only wanted the incident documented, Wofford said.
Wofford confirmed that the same individual involved in the February call was also connected to a separate domestic violence arrest involving Jones in June 2025. Jones again pleaded not guilty to those charges.
The Daily Mail identified the alleged victim in both domestic incidents as Jones’ husband, Navek Cejas, 44.
In a separate report, TMZ stated that Jones was also facing charges in May 2025 for allegedly being under the influence of toluene in a public place. The National Library of Medicine describes toluene as a colorless liquid with a strong odor that can be abused for its euphoric effects.
At the time of publication, a spokesperson for the Napa Valley Sheriff’s Department had not responded to requests for comment.
