The couple announced the joyful news on Instagram on Monday, sharing a black-and-white photo of their newborn’s tiny feet. They revealed that their daughter was born on December 29, 2025, and named Everley Capri Hough.
“Every step of our lives has led us to you,” the couple wrote in the caption. “Our hearts have been cracked wide open and our world is forever changed.”
The announcement was met with an outpouring of love from fellow dancers and colleagues. DWTS alumni Lindsay Arnold commented, “CONGRATS — so so happy for you two!!!,” while Witney Carson added an enthusiastic, “AHHHHH!!!!!”

Erbert, 31, first revealed her pregnancy in July 2025, debuting her baby bump in a maternity shoot shared on social media.
“We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small,” the couple wrote at the time.
The baby’s arrival comes a little over two years after Hough, 40, and Erbert tied the knot. The pair married in a picturesque ceremony in Carmel, California, in August 2023.
Just four months after their wedding, Erbert faced a life-threatening health emergency when she was hospitalized with a cranial hematoma and underwent urgent brain surgery. In December 2025, she marked the second anniversary of the ordeal, reflecting on how her journey led to motherhood.

“Creating life two years after fighting for my life feels like a miracle,” Erbert shared. “I’m truly grateful for it all and so incredibly proud of my body for everything it has endured.”
Hough and Erbert first met in 2014 when she joined his Move Live Tour, which he co-headlined with his sister, Julianne Hough. The two began dating in 2015, and Derek proposed in 2022.
