Nicki Minaj is making headlines once again after reacting to a viral TikTok posted by the White House that features a mashup of her 2012 hit “Beez in the Trap” and 4 Non Blondes’ 1993 classic “What’s Up?”
Earlier this week, the Trump administration shared a video on TikTok showing former President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump walking and lightly dancing, set to the popular mashup created by TikTok user @dj.auxlord. The edit has been widely shared across the platform in recent months.
Nicki responded to the clip on X (formerly Twitter), appearing amused and enthusiastic.
“The President & First Lady of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she wrote.
She then jokingly added: “Barbz, idk which one of you uploaded this to the White House TikTok but just know unlimited backstage GAG CITY FOR LIFE. Idk what timeline we’re on right now, I’m just goin with the flow.”

This isn’t the first time the rapper has acknowledged her music gaining traction in political or unexpected spaces. Earlier this year, she reacted to a clip of Trump’s granddaughter participating in the “Beez in the Trap” TikTok trend.
While some fans were surprised by Nicki’s playful endorsement of the viral White House post, others noted that she has recently leaned into unpredictable and provocative online interactions. Her social media activity in recent months has sparked frequent debate and speculation, with some fans joking that she is intentionally stirring conversation.
