Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, the 27-year-old daughter of comedian and TV personality Rosie O’Donnell, is facing new legal challenges.
Less than two months after her arrest on charges of drug offenses and child neglect, Chelsea was arrested again.
Rosie confirmed the news on Instagram on December 3, sharing a screenshot of an email that confirmed her daughter’s status.
“After being bailed out by her birth mother—Chelsea was arrested again—and is facing many charges related to her drug addiction,” Rosie wrote, expressing hope that Chelsea would get the help she needs.
Chelsea, who is a mother to four children—Skylar, 5, Riley, 3, Avery, 2, and Atlas, 12 months—was arrested on November 18 in Marinette County, Wisconsin.
She is currently being held at the Marinette County Jail with no court date set.
Chelsea faces multiple felony charges, including two counts of possession of methamphetamine, a count of possession of narcotic drugs, and two counts of bail jumping.
These charges follow a string of legal issues, including her earlier arrests in September and October on similar drug and child neglect charges.
Rosie O’Donnell has expressed her gratitude for the support she has received from fans during this challenging time.
In an October TikTok video, she thanked people for their kind words and shared that the outpouring of support has made her feel “less alone.”
She also spoke about the difficulties of being in the public eye, acknowledging the struggles her family has faced due to Chelsea’s legal troubles.
The relationship between Rosie and Chelsea has been strained over the years, particularly after Chelsea chose to live with her birth mother in Wisconsin at age 18.
While the two had a difficult period, they reconnected in 2018, with Rosie publicly sharing that their relationship had improved.
However, Chelsea’s recent legal issues have once again put a strain on their bond.
Rosie has continued to advocate for Chelsea, expressing hope that she can find the support and help she needs to overcome her struggles with addiction.
