Nicki Minaj is set to make a splash next month with new music. The 41-year-old rapper has announced the release of a deluxe edition of her Pink Friday 2 album, titled Gag City Reloaded.
The release is scheduled for September 13.
Minaj shared the news on Instagram, posting a series of candid photos and videos with her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, 46.
She has also been keeping fans updated about the album on her X account, revealing that one of the new tracks will be a standout and likely become a fan favorite from the Pink Friday 2 era.
The original Pink Friday 2, which dropped last December, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 228,000 equivalent album units sold in the U.S.
This achievement made Minaj the female rapper with the most No. 1 albums on Billboard, surpassing Foxy Brown’s record.
In addition to the album release, Minaj will kick off the second leg of her Pink Friday 2 Tour on September 4 in Philadelphia.
The tour will visit major cities including Washington DC, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Miami, before wrapping up in Minaj’s hometown of Queens, New York on October 11.
