Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Joins Al Qadsiah

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has officially joined Al Qadsiah from Marseille, with a deal confirmed until June 2026.

This marks a significant move for both the player and the Saudi Arabian club, highlighting their ambitions to bolster their squad with experienced international talent.

Aubameyang, born on June 18, 1989, in Laval, France, began his professional career with AC Milan, though he did not make a senior appearance for the club.

He was loaned to several French teams, including Dijon, Lille, and AS Monaco, where he showcased his potential.

His breakthrough came at Saint-Étienne, where he scored 41 goals in 97 appearances between 2011 and 2013.

In 2013, Aubameyang made a high-profile move to Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

At Dortmund, he truly made a name for himself, becoming one of Europe’s most feared strikers.

He scored an impressive 141 goals in 213 appearances and won the DFB-Pokal in 2017.

His remarkable pace, clinical finishing, and ability to perform in crucial moments earned him the Bundesliga Top Scorer title in the 2016-2017 season.

Aubameyang’s success in Germany led to a transfer to Arsenal in January 2018.

He continued his goal-scoring exploits in the Premier League, netting 92 goals in 163 appearances.

Aubameyang played a crucial role in Arsenal’s FA Cup victory in 2020, scoring twice in the final against Chelsea. He also won the Premier League Golden Boot in the 2018-2019 season, sharing the award with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané.

In 2022, Aubameyang briefly moved to Barcelona before transferring to Marseille in 2023.

At Marseille, he added 14 goals in 42 appearances to his tally, demonstrating his enduring quality and experience at the top level of European football.
