Singer Ellie Goulding has announced the birth of her second child, sharing the news with fans via Instagram. The newborn is her first child with boyfriend Beau Minniear.
“On Friday [March 6] I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her,” Goulding wrote in an Instagram Story on Tuesday, giving fans a glimpse of her new arrival.

The “Love Me Like You Do” star added that spending International Women’s Day with her baby and the all-female team at St Mary’s Hospital was particularly meaningful. “I will always be in awe of midwives. This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so happy to become a big brother to this little angel,” she wrote. Goulding also shared a second Story showing a chocolate cake that read, “Welcome baby sister.”
Goulding, 39, is already a mother to son Arthur Jopling with her ex-husband Caspar Jopling. The couple married in August 2019 and welcomed Arthur nearly two years later. They publicly announced their divorce in February 2024, noting that they had separated some time prior. Goulding and Jopling emphasized that they remain close friends and co-parent their son.
While the timeline of Goulding’s relationship with Minniear, 28, remains private, the couple went Instagram-official in July 2025. Minniear shared a minimalist photo of Goulding in bed, marking their public debut as a couple. Goulding’s pregnancy was later confirmed when she showed her baby bump at the 2025 Fashion Awards in December, joking on Instagram about the role of AI in generating pregnancy rumors.
