The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has announced 217 job vacancies in different departments.
In a public notice dated March 10, 2026, the Renson Ingonga, who serves as Kenya’s Director of Public Prosecutions, invited qualified candidates to apply for the available positions.
According to the notice, the ODPP is seeking to recruit 140 Prosecution Counsel, five Accountants, four Supply Chain Management Officers, five Research Officers, two Audit Officers, five Information Communication Technology Officers, five Public Affairs and Corporate Communication Officers, 25 Clerical Officers, and 26 Office Assistants.
Interested applicants have been asked to submit their applications online through the careers page on the ODPP website or through the official recruitment portal.
The office said hard copy applications will not be accepted and all applications must be submitted before March 30, 2026, at 5.00 p.m. East African Time.
“The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is committed to implementing the provisions of Article 232(i) of the Constitution. Therefore, persons with disabilities, intersex persons, and those from marginalized and minority communities are encouraged to apply,” the notice stated.
The ODPP also noted that candidates who will be shortlisted for interviews will be required to present the original copies of their National Identification Card, academic and professional certificates, as well as transcripts during the interview process.
