International higher education group Whitecliffe Global has expanded its footprint in Europe after acquiring Berlin International University of Applied Sciences.
The Berlin-based institution has officially rebranded as Whitecliffe University of Applied Sciences, aligning it with the group’s global brand as part of its expansion strategy.
Whitecliffe Global already operates Whitecliffe New Zealand and Whitecliffe-TFI. The group has also announced plans to launch operations in Canada and the United Arab Emirates in the near future.
Executive Chairman Feroz Ali said the expansion aims to give students opportunities to study across different countries.
“By bringing Whitecliffe University of Applied Sciences into our portfolio as our first true university, we are creating seamless pathways for students to thrive in an interconnected world,” he said.
He added that the group wants students to pursue their education across multiple countries, “gaining unparalleled exposure to diverse industries, innovations, and global perspectives.”
The acquisition strengthens the group’s presence in Europe and offers students access to English-taught programmes in fields such as architecture, design and business.
