Nicola Peltz’s recent weight loss has sparked widespread discussion online, after fans noticed her slimmer appearance in photos shared on Instagram.
According to a source quoted by People on Friday, the change is linked to the actress’s preparation for an upcoming film role. The insider said the 31-year-old has undergone a major physical transformation for her part in the ballet drama Prima.
“She’s undergone a physical transformation and intense workout regimen for her role in ‘Prima,’ where she portrays a prima ballerina,” the source said.
Peltz is set to star in the film alongside veteran actresses Faye Dunaway and Mira Sorvino, as well as actor Jack Huston. In the movie, she plays Margo, a classical ballet dancer whose life is thrown into turmoil as modern changes threaten the traditions of her ballet company, forcing her to confront the personal cost of total devotion to her art.
A representative for Peltz did not immediately respond to media requests for comment.
Fans began commenting on the actress’s appearance after she shared photos from a romantic holiday with her husband, Brooklyn Beckham. The posts drew attention not only for the couple’s getaway but also for Peltz’s noticeable weight loss.
The vacation came shortly after Brooklyn Beckham, 26, made headlines following a strongly worded social media post directed at his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. In the post, he accused them of repeatedly disrespecting Peltz, spreading what he described as “countless lies,” and attempting to undermine their relationship.
Brooklyn also alleged that his mother had pulled out of making Peltz’s wedding dress at the last minute, forcing the actress to find an alternative designer. He further claimed that Victoria Beckham behaved “very inappropriately” while dancing with him at the couple’s 2022 Palm Beach wedding, saying the incident left him feeling humiliated and uncomfortable.
In the same statement, Brooklyn publicly stated that he has no intention of repairing his relationship with his parents at this time.
