Supermodel Adriana Lima has sold her heavily fortified home in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles for $12.96 million, closing a deal that came in well below her original asking price after several months on the market.
The property, which attracted attention for its advanced security features — including artificial intelligence-powered cameras and laser-based perimeter protection — was first listed in August 2025 for $15.995 million. The price was later reduced to $13.995 million before the sale was finalized.
Lima and her husband, film producer Andre Lemmers III, purchased the newly built residence in 2022 for $12.35 million. While the final sale price represents a small gain over the purchase price, it fell short of the premium typically expected for a luxury Brentwood home with extensive custom upgrades and celebrity ownership.
The roughly 7,500-square-foot estate sits on a 0.34-acre lot and includes a five-bedroom main house and a one-bedroom guesthouse. Amenities include a swimming pool, home theatre, wine storage, and multiple indoor-outdoor entertaining spaces.

One of the property’s most distinctive features was its layered security system, which surrounded the home with surveillance technology rarely seen in residential listings, even at the high end of the market.
The house was marketed as move-in ready and featured custom window treatments, designer furniture, antique chandeliers, and vintage Parisian street lamps. According to agents involved in the transaction, the buyers paid an additional amount to keep several of these fixtures. Some outdoor features, including about $20,000 worth of potted plants, were also included in the sale.
Lima has previously said the sale was part of a broader geographic shift. She cited growing work commitments in New York and Europe, as well as the demands of frequent cross-country travel, as reasons for stepping away from Los Angeles.
The Brentwood sale contrasts sharply with a far more profitable real estate deal Lima completed in Florida just a few years earlier.
In 2009, she bought a waterfront estate on Indian Creek Island, near Miami, for $9 million, taking advantage of depressed prices following the global financial crisis. The nearly two-acre property is located on one of the most exclusive residential islands in the United States, known for its security and high-profile residents.
After significant renovations and a sharp rise in South Florida’s luxury property market, a trust linked to Lima sold the estate in early 2022 for $40 million — more than four times the original purchase price and one of the most profitable celebrity property sales of that period.
