Pete Davidson’s girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, is keeping it real about the challenges of postpartum life. The 29-year-old model shared a candid mirror selfie on Instagram Friday, lifting her black T-shirt to reveal a pair of adult diapers.
“Adult diapers all day (and night),” Hewitt captioned the post. “My sister asked if I pee in them & if ur wondering the answer is NO LMAO.” She also pointed out an ice pack in the background, highlighting the ongoing recovery process.
Hewitt and the 32-year-old “Saturday Night Live” alum welcomed their first child, daughter Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, on December 12. The new mom gushed on Instagram, calling her baby “our perfect angel girl” and sharing that she was “absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief.”

The reality of postpartum recovery didn’t stop there. Just days after giving birth, Hewitt had a wisdom tooth removed at the hospital, sharing a swollen, bandaged selfie and asking, “Who else had to get a wisdom tooth removed directly from hospital the day after they gave birth?”
During her pregnancy, Hewitt opened up about the extreme pain she experienced, which she attributed to a possible Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) diagnosis. In November, she revealed on Instagram Stories that she was in “absolute agony” almost 24/7, struggling to walk despite trying every possible remedy.
The model confirmed her pregnancy in July with a playful post showing a sonogram and a photo of her and Davidson cradling her baby bump. Davidson, speaking to Jimmy Fallon shortly after, called fatherhood a dream come true. “I did it! Nah, if anybody who knows me, it’s my dream to be a dad so I’m so excited,” he said, adding that both he and Hewitt were thrilled for the new chapter.
With Hewitt sharing the unvarnished truth about postpartum life, fans are getting a raw glimpse into the highs and lows of new parenthood—and the reality behind the Instagram-perfect moments.
