Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have opted not to attend Kate Middleton’s annual Christmas carol service, keeping a low profile amid the fallout from their father’s scandal.
Eugenie, 35, shared the news on Instagram Stories Friday night, resharing a post from the Prince and Princess of Wales. “Wish Bea and I could have been celebrating tonight with our family,” she wrote. “Wishing @princeandprincessofwales such a special evening at her incredible carol service. What an amazing message of love and hope.”
The Princess of Wales, 43, had reportedly extended personal invitations to her cousins in a bid to present a united family front following Prince Andrew’s recent controversies, royal commentator Neil Sean told Fox News in November.

Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie retained their royal titles even after their father was stripped of his “prince” title in October due to his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Following the announcement, the sisters briefly left the U.K., returning to London on November 6.
King Charles also revoked Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson’s royal lodgings. Buckingham Palace confirmed in October: “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”
The removal applied immediately to all of Andrew’s titles, including Duke of York, Earl of Inverness, Baron Killyleagh, and “His Royal Highness.” Ferguson was also instructed to give up her Duchess of York title. Sources reveal the couple has a move-out deadline of January 31, with Ferguson currently seeking a new home in Windsor.
