Miley Cyrus set the red carpet alight on Monday night, debuting a stunning new engagement ring as she arrived hand-in-hand with fiancé Maxx Morando for the world premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
The 33-year-old pop star proudly flashed the gleaming piece as the couple posed for photographers at the Dolby Theatre.
The cushion-cut diamond ring — set in 14-karat gold — is a custom creation by celebrity-favorite designer Jacquie Aiche.
Jewelry historian Marion Fasel, founder of The Adventurine, described the ring as an east-west–set natural diamond, noting that the rising price of gold makes the metal a standout feature of the design. “It’s very much in line with the modern trend we’ve seen, similar to Dua Lipa’s engagement ring,” Fasel explained. “There isn’t much historical precedent — this is a new direction for engagement rings. I love it because the look feels both substantial and fresh.”

Daniela Tarantino, VP of Merchandising at Blue Nail, estimated the piece to be a 4–5 carat modified cushion cut valued between $300,000 and $450,000. However, the true specifications remain a mystery, as Aiche’s team declined to comment on the exact size and price.
Cyrus made sure the dazzling ring had its moment, resting her hand on Morando’s chest as cameras snapped away. The couple, who have been together for four years, arrived in coordinating black ensembles. Cyrus stunned in a strapless sequined Gucci gown with a dramatic ruffled train, while Morando, 27, opted for a sleek classic tuxedo.
Aiche’s designs have long been a favorite among Hollywood’s elite, crafting personal pieces for stars like Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid. Cyrus herself has worn the designer’s creations throughout her career, including the diamond earrings she donned at her 2018 wedding to ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
