Meghan Markle is embracing a traditional Thanksgiving this year, spending the holiday cooking a turkey and hosting friends at her Montecito, California, home, she revealed in her latest As Ever newsletter.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, offered fans an intimate look at her holiday routine in her Thursday newsletter, reflecting on family, friends, and the joys—and challenges—of hosting. “Please know that as I look around my home and see my husband and children, family, dear friends (and also navigate the timing on the turkey and the love and layers that come with hostessing) — I feel grateful,” she wrote. She added, “Wishing you a Thanksgiving with full hearts and full bellies.”
Markle also expressed gratitude to her subscribers for supporting her As Ever brand throughout the year. She described the many ways fans incorporate the collection into daily life: from jam on morning toast and honey in tea, to candles for cozy baths, bottles of bubbles to celebrate, and wine for toasting loved ones.
Earlier this week, Markle shared a look at the new As Ever pop-up at Soho Home in West Hollywood, noting the location held personal significance. “Talk about a full circle moment! In my old stomping ground of West Hollywood, with a brand, family, and friends that have been part of my life so long… and also part of my love story with H (since our very first date was at a SH restaurant),” she wrote on Instagram.

Ahead of the holiday, Markle and Prince Harry, 41, volunteered with their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles. The family helped prepare and package meals for those experiencing food insecurity, sharing heartwarming photos on their Archewell website, including a snapshot of the couple scooping cookie dough while Lilibet watched.
Markle also opened up about her relationship with Harry in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, praising his unwavering support. “No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back,” she said. She described Harry as playful and inspiring, noting that his “childlike wonder and playfulness” brought out the same qualities in her, influencing both their personal life and business ventures.
