Ice Spice Drops “Pretty Privilege” Video After Cardi B Feud Rumors Swirl

Ice Spice has officially released the music video for her highly talked-about track “Pretty Privilege,” a release that comes after months of speculation that the song was aimed at Cardi B.

The rapper, who directed the video herself, appears outside a luxurious French chateau, dancing and twerking with confidence as she raps about fame, critics, and the power of beauty. “Pretty Privilege, that’s a perk,” she declares on the RIOTUSA-produced track. “Can’t help it, I’m a flirt / Fine shit, that’s a fact / From the front, you see the back.”

“Pretty Privilege” first caught attention back in September, shortly after a leaked phone call circulated online. The recording reportedly captured Cardi B confronting Ice Spice’s manager, James Rosemond Jr., and threatening to physically confront the Bronx star. The clip included a voice many listeners believed to be Cardi, warning, “I’ma show y’all… I’ma beat her the fuck up… Y’all gonna see what’s up.”

Not long after that leak, Ice Spice teased a preview of “Pretty Privilege,” featuring the lyric, “She might talk shit on the ’Gram, but she won’t talk it to my face.” Fans immediately interpreted it as a direct jab at Cardi, fueling rumors of a brewing feud between the two New York hitmakers.

Cardi responded at the time on X, denying she was the one who leaked the call and suggesting Rosemond was responsible. She also apologized to Latto, who was mentioned during the incident, and accused Ice Spice’s camp of using the controversy for promotion.

However, not everyone believes the track was aimed at Cardi at all. Some listeners think the song’s sharp lines may instead reference Stunna Sandy, a Brooklyn rapper who has frequently been compared to Ice Spice. The speculation began months earlier when Ice Spice released “Baddie Baddie,” where she seemingly referenced another artist trying to copy her style.

Despite the rumors, Ice Spice has not publicly named anyone in connection with the song — and the video shows no interest in addressing the drama directly. Instead, “Pretty Privilege” presents the 24-year-old star fully in her element: glamorous, confident, and unapologetically playful.
