Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave their Santa Barbara neighbors a royal surprise this Halloween as they joined other families trick-or-treating with their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
Photos captured the Duke and Duchess of Sussex casually strolling door to door in their Montecito neighborhood on Friday, blending right in with the festive crowd. Markle, 44, embraced the holiday spirit in relaxed black attire paired with a colorful butterfly cape, while Harry, 41, kept it low-key in a black polo and jeans.
The kids stole the show with their adorable costumes: Archie dressed as an ant and Lilibet spotted in a bright green firefly outfit, their bags quickly filling up with candy as they raced ahead of their parents.

In true Santa Barbara style, Halloween fun extended to the adults — Harry was seen carrying two bottles of an unidentified drink while Meghan held a stemless wine cup, a local tradition where children get candy and adults receive wine along their route.
The festive family outing comes just days after Markle offered a rare glimpse into their home life during a conversation with friend Courtney Adamo at the Godmothers Bookstore in Montecito. She revealed that music is always playing in their house and shared that she never travels without a favorite candle, explaining how scent makes her feel grounded.
Markle also spoke about a sweet reflection ritual she practices with her family called “rose and thorn,” which encourages deeper conversation. She laughed while describing Lilibet’s current phase: “She’s 4 and has such a strong personality. When I ask her for her rose and thorn, she just says, ‘My day was just a blast!’”
Earlier in October, Markle celebrated International Day of the Girl by sharing previously unseen photos of Lilibet, along with a message of empowerment to girls around the world: “This world is yours.”
