Global smartphone manufacturer OPPO has officially launched its latest device, the OPPO A6 Pro, into the Nigerian market at an exclusive event held in Lagos.
The colourful launch featured live demonstrations, interactive sessions, and photo experiences that showcased the phone’s standout design and two colour options — Stellar Blue and Rosewood Red.
The OPPO A6 Pro is available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage variants and can now be purchased through authorized retailers and major e-commerce platforms across Nigeria.
According to OPPO, the launch reflects the company’s commitment to combining power, durability, and stylish design for Nigerian consumers.
The A6 Pro comes equipped with a massive 7,000mAh battery, 80W SUPERVOOC™ Flash Charge, and military-grade durability, setting new standards for endurance in the mid-range smartphone category.
The battery promises up to 20 hours of video playback and retains more than 80% of its original capacity after five years of regular use. It also features IP69-rated water and dust protection and AGC DT-Star D+ Crystal Shield Glass, offering high resistance against damage while maintaining a slim, elegant profile.
For visuals, the phone boasts a 120Hz AMOLED display, ColorOS 15, and the Trinity Engine for seamless performance during gaming, streaming, and multitasking. With AI LinkBoost 3.0 improving network connectivity and a 93% screen-to-body ratio, the A6 Pro aims to deliver a premium user experience at an affordable price.
Speaking during the launch, Caroline Wang, Product Marketing Manager at OPPO, said the new model represents a major leap in the company’s A-series lineup.
