The Chainsmokers are known for throwing unforgettable parties, but their latest celebration might have gone a little too far. The DJ duo’s exclusive Hollywood Hills bash for the release of their new EP Breathe was so electrifying that police were eventually called in to end the night.
The private event, held on Friday night, drew a star-studded crowd including Corey Gamble, Zack Bia, Carmella Rose, and Mike Majlak. Guests were treated to an immersive experience complete with a custom DJ booth, trippy art installations, and themed cocktails inspired by the mood of the Breathe album.

Drew Taggart and Alex Pall took turns spinning behind the decks, teaming up for back-to-back sets with Twinsick and performing their latest tracks alongside collaborators Anna Sofia and Beau Nox.

According to witnesses, the party’s costumes stole the spotlight — attendees showed up dressed as everything from zombie nuns and rogue knights to a wild Sasquatch tearing up the dance floor.

However, the high-energy atmosphere proved too much for the neighborhood. By the end of the night, police officers arrived to shut down the music after noise complaints poured in — bringing the wild celebration to an abrupt, but fitting, Chainsmokers-style close.
