Jason Kelce Thanks Taylor Swift After Chiefs’ Victory Over Raiders

Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce has given a special shout-out to his soon-to-be sister-in-law, pop icon Taylor Swift, after the Kansas City Chiefs’ impressive win against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Speaking on the October 22 episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Jason praised Swift for her support at the October 19 game, where she cheered on her fiancé and the team.

“We got the Chiefs dominating win over the Raiders. Yeah, baby,” Jason said enthusiastically. “Eagles back in the win column. Thank you so much, Taylor. Thank you so much.”

Jason also reacted to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes posting a highlight reel of wide receiver Rashee Rice’s performance, set to Swift’s new song Opalite from her latest album The Life of a Showgirl.

“Pat was hitting him with some back-shoulder passes. He’s getting a lot of big plays,” Jason said. “So much so that Pat decided to post a Rashee highlight clip to the tune of Opalite.”

Travis, 36, laughed and responded, “That’s too good. I told y’all it was gonna be a banger.”

Jason continued the fun, referencing the song’s lyrics. “The sky is definitely opalite in Kansas City right now for the Chiefs. There’s no question. It was Onyx for the first two weeks, but we are full-on beautiful…”

Swift, 35, attended the game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City with her father, Scott Swift, watching from a private suite. After the Chiefs’ victory, she joined Travis to celebrate at 1587 Prime Steakhouse — a restaurant co-owned by Travis and Mahomes.

The October 19 match marked Swift’s second public appearance at a Chiefs game this season. She first attended on October 12, where she was seen cheering alongside Travis’ parents, Donna and Ed Kelce.

Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 through a joint Instagram post, confirming one of pop culture’s most talked-about relationships.
