Tensions in the airline industry appear to be spilling over into airports, as a heated exchange between employees from two major carriers — Delta Airlines and Southwest Airlines — was caught on video at Atlanta Airport in Georgia.
In the viral clip, a male Delta flight attendant is seen arguing with a female Southwest gate agent near a boarding gate. The confrontation reportedly started after the flight attendant complained about the airport’s cleanliness, accusing the Southwest team of neglecting their duties.
“You all make this company look horrible. Your customer service is ridiculous,” the Delta employee can be heard saying in the video. He went on to call Southwest “the worst” airline and demanded that the gate agent clean up the area.

As the exchange escalated, the flight attendant insulted the woman, calling her “ghetto” and telling her to stop pointing her finger at him. The Southwest employee responded firmly, warning him to lower his tone.
