Kanye West’s past claims that his ex-wife Kim Kardashian once accused him of “putting a hit out on her” have resurfaced following new revelations from the reality star.
In a trailer for Season 7 of The Kardashians, Kardashian said she was in danger from “someone extremely close” to her, sparking fresh attention to West’s explosive posts made in 2022.
“YESTERDAY KIM ACCUSED ME OF PUTTING A HIT OUT ON HER,” the rapper wrote on X at the time. He further claimed, “I BEG TO GO TO MY DAUGHTERS PARTY AND IM ACCUSED OF BEING ON DRUGS… THEN I GO PLAY WITH MY SON AND… IM ACCUSED OF STEALING.”
West said the allegations could “ACTUALLY GET SOMEONE LOCKED UP,” insisting he was being unfairly targeted. “THEY PLAY LIKE THAT WITH BLACK MENS LIVES… IM NOT PLAYING ABOUT MY BLACK CHILDREN ANYMORE,” he added.
West, 48, and Kardashian, 44, were married in 2014 and share four children — North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6. The pair split in 2021 after years of public tension, with their divorce marked by West’s repeated online criticism of Kardashian’s parenting.
The reality star, however, hit back at her ex, accusing him of constantly attacking her in interviews and on social media.
In the new trailer, Kardashian tearfully revealed that investigators informed her about a planned hit, though she didn’t name the person involved. “I am terrified out of my mind,” she said, later adding, “I’m happy it’s over.”
Kardashian has previously sought legal protection from threats. In 2024, she filed a restraining order against a man accused of stalking her and showing up at her Malibu home.
Season 7 of the Hulu reality show also features Kardashian confronting the men convicted of robbing her at gunpoint in a Paris hotel in 2016.
