Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, has once again found himself in the spotlight after sharing a lighthearted cooking video in which he joked about “living off” his son.
Appearing in an Instagram livestream while preparing chicken nuggets, Nasraoui brushed off criticism about his lifestyle and his outspoken nature. “Thank you, son, I’ll live off you,” he said with a laugh, captioning the video Nuggets Hustle Hard.

The comments come just days after Yamal returned from injury to make an instant impact for Barcelona. The 17-year-old came off the bench against Real Sociedad and provided a decisive assist for Robert Lewandowski in a 2-1 La Liga victory.
Nasraoui also defended his previous statements made at the Ballon d’Or gala, where he had passionately backed his son. “I didn’t say anything stupid. I just said my son is the best in the world, that’s all. Let them keep talking,” he said, doubling down on his critics.

This is not the first time Nasraoui has attracted attention online. From vocal shouts during the Ballon d’Or ceremony to live videos showing his home decorated with Barcelona-themed displays, his support for Yamal has become a recurring talking point among fans.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are preparing for a major Champions League showdown against Paris Saint-Germain at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Coach Hansi Flick is expected to start Yamal, who is gradually returning to full fitness after a pubic bone injury. With PSG battling injury concerns of their own, the teenager could once again be a key figure for Barca in one of their biggest matches of the season.
