International pop star Rihanna has announced the birth of her third child with partner A$AP Rocky.
The singer, 37, revealed the news on Instagram Wednesday, posting a photo of herself holding the newborn and writing, “Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025.”
The couple, who already have two sons — RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, born in 2023 — had confirmed in May that they were expecting another child. Rihanna debuted her baby bump in New York City ahead of this year’s Met Gala, sparking speculation among fans about whether she might be carrying twins.

In June, Rocky appeared to hint that the couple were expecting a girl. Asked during an interview at the Smurfs premiere whether he was finally getting “the girl [he’s] been waiting for,” the rapper laughed and held up a Smurfette doll, jokingly dodging the question.
Rihanna also teased at the time that she could be pregnant with a “Smurfette” or even a “Papa Smurf,” keeping fans guessing.
On the baby’s name, Rihanna has said that she and Rocky always agree that it must start with the letter R, a tradition now carried on with their daughter.
The couple, who began dating in 2020 after years of friendship, have continued to capture public attention with their growing family.
