Sean “Diddy” Combs has made headlines after wiping clean his Instagram profile, including his responses to the recent release of surveillance footage showing him assaulting Cassie in 2016.
As of now, Diddy’s Instagram account, which previously directed visitors to his record label Bad Boy Records and featured updates, has been completely cleared.
This includes videos and statements Diddy had shared in response to the release of the surveillance footage and other updates from earlier times.
While his Instagram has been scrubbed, Diddy’s Twitter account still had a statement from December pinned at the top as of the latest check. The last tweet visible on his profile was from February, focusing on the Grammy-nominated album “The Love Album: Off the Grid.” His TikTok remains intact but has not been active since last year.
Dream Biz Entertain has reached out to representatives of Diddy for comment on the developments. Updates to this story may follow. It’s common in the music industry for artists to clear their social media profiles ahead of new releases, but in this instance, it doesn’t seem to indicate any imminent projects.
In May, Diddy had addressed the release of the assault footage on Instagram, stating, “I hit rock bottom but I make no excuses.” He took full responsibility for his actions in the video, expressing disgust both then and now over his behavior.
In December, Diddy had vehemently denied allegations against him through a statement posted on Instagram and Twitter.
He asserted, “Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.”
Recent months have seen Diddy embroiled in multiple lawsuits and facing home raids. Adding to the controversy, the Key to the City previously awarded to him by New York City Mayor Eric Adams was returned this month. Adams had publicly expressed concerns over the Cassie video, hinting at a possible revocation of the honor.
