Catrin-Mai Huw and William Thomas, actors from the beloved sitcom Gavin and Stacey, have shared memories of their iconic roles as the show prepares for its final Christmas episode.
Huw, now a teacher, played Stacey’s nemesis Natalie Lewis in a memorable 32-second stare-off scene set in a pharmacy.
Despite her brief appearance, fans still recognize her, with some even quoting the scene.
“A few years ago, pupils would show me memes from that scene,” said Huw, recalling how the role unexpectedly lingered in popular culture.
William Thomas portrayed the eccentric Father Chris, known for his passionate outburst during a sandwich-themed parish discussion.
Though nervous about performing alongside the show’s stars, he was encouraged by audience laughter.
Father Chris became a fan favorite, reappearing for Baby Neil’s christening and Nessa and Dave’s wedding.
Both actors are proud of their contributions to a series that has become a cherished part of British TV history.
