Sabrina Carpenter is focusing on wellness and balance after finishing the first leg of her Short n’ Sweet tour and navigating personal changes.
In a Dec. 10 interview with British Vogue, the “Espresso” singer opened up about her self-care routine, emphasizing the importance of maintaining stability amid her demanding schedule.
“This would sound a little annoying to me a couple years ago, but I definitely had a certain ritual,” the 25-year-old shared.
“Overall, it was just being more conscious around making healthy choices for myself. Making sure I’m prioritizing sleeping and prioritizing protein.”
Carpenter admitted that these habits have helped her cope with both career challenges and personal transitions, including her recent breakup with Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan after a year of dating.
“If I feel good on the inside, then I can make it through as much as I humanly can,” she explained, adding that having her sister and best friend on tour helped her stay grounded.
Carpenter and Keoghan first sparked dating rumors in December 2023, later confirming their relationship when he appeared in her Please Please Please music video in June.
“I was like, ‘Who’s the greatest actor that I can find for this music video?’” Carpenter recalled during an October appearance on CBS Sunday Morning. “And he was next to me in a chair. And he was so excited about it.”
However, since their split went public, Keoghan, 32, has faced online harassment, prompting him to deactivate his Instagram. In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), he condemned the hateful messages he received.
“I can only sit and take so much,” he wrote. “My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I usually don’t respond to.”
He continued, “I deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work. The messages I have received—no person should ever have to read them.
Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent, and every other inhumane thing you can imagine.”
As both stars move forward, Carpenter remains focused on her well-being and career, while Keoghan prioritizes his family and personal peace.
