Bristol Harbour Festival Set For Grand Return In July 2025

The Bristol Harbour Festival is set to return from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 July 2025, promising an expanded program that highlights the city’s rich culture, talent, and heritage.

As one of the UK’s largest free cultural events, it is expected to attract over 200,000 visitors during its three-day run.

Organizers have revealed plans for a more extensive lineup featuring award-winning food stalls, live performances, and art showcases from across Bristol’s creative scene.

Having started over 50 years ago as the Bristol Water Festival, the event has grown into a major cultural highlight in the city’s calendar.

Harry Feigen, Managing Director of Proud Events, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming festival, saying, “The harbour festival is all about showcasing the incredible talent, culture, and heritage that make this city so special.”

Councillor Tony Dyer, Leader of Bristol City Council, emphasized the focus on local artists and vendors, noting, “Our focus is on finding local artists to build on the success of 2024’s festival and make the next one even bigger.”

Local performers, traders, and venues are encouraged to participate, with the submission deadline for performers set for 31 January 2025.

With its legacy of supporting homegrown talent, the Bristol Harbour Festival 2025 is shaping up to be the city’s biggest celebration yet.
