Joey Lawrence And Samantha Cope Spark Reunion Amid Divorce Drama

Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope might be giving their love story a second chance.

Just three months after Samantha filed for divorce to end their two-year marriage, the pair—who share a 23-month-old daughter, Dylan Rose—appear to have rekindled their romance.

The Melissa and Joey actor hinted at a reconciliation in a heartfelt Instagram post on December 4, sharing photos of the two looking close at an event for their new movie, Marry Christmas.

“I am beyond grateful, I am beyond blessed,” Joey wrote in the caption. “I am galaxies beyond thankful.

My heart is so full.” The second photo in the post—a selfie of the two sharing a kiss—was accompanied by the words “my forever after.”

Samantha responded in the comments with a simple, “love you.”

This apparent reunion follows a rocky few months for the couple.

In August, Samantha filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” and requesting full custody of their daughter.

Her proposed parenting plan granted Joey visitation at Samantha’s discretion, with the possibility of overnight stays once Dylan turns three.

The divorce proceedings were further complicated by accusations of infidelity.

Samantha alleged that Joey had cheated on her with his Socked in for Christmas co-star, Melina Alves.

Melina quickly denied the claims, taking to Instagram to clarify her relationship with Joey.

“I want to clarify that there was no sexual relationship between Joey and myself while we were on set filming Socked in for Christmas,” Melina wrote in August.

“When I met Joey, I was immediately struck by his kindness, warmth, and genuine character. We found common ground in our shared experiences, which led to a strong, supportive friendship.”

Meanwhile, Samantha shared an emotional montage on social media, offering glimpses of her time with Dylan alongside moments of raw vulnerability, including clips of her crying.

In the caption, she shared a message of hope:

“An amazing friend of mine recently told me, ‘Don’t be afraid of the tears. Let them flow. Because every tear is God gently squeezing the pain and devastation
