Colin Jost may be known for his clean-cut persona, but according to his wife, Scarlett Johansson, there’s more to the Saturday Night Live star than meets the eye.
During a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark on November 26, Scarlett teased Colin’s mischievous side, revealing, “He’s got his naughty side… That’s why he keeps it interesting.”
Mark Consuelos, one of the cohosts, probed further about Colin’s “boat”—referring to the Staten Island ferryboat that Colin and his former SNL costar Pete Davidson purchased with a group of investors in 2022.
Scarlett didn’t hold back, laughing as she responded, “That’s the naughty part I was talking about.”
The group bought the decommissioned ferry for $280,100 at an auction, with plans to turn it into an arts and entertainment venue.
However, Scarlett humorously pointed out that progress on the project has been slow. “It is, um, yup, still decommissioned,” she joked, adding that Colin needed to cover the boat’s docking fees.
Despite the lack of major developments, the ferryboat did serve as the venue for the Tommy Hilfiger runway show during New York Fashion Week in September.
Initially skeptical about the event, Scarlett admitted she was surprised by its success, saying, “I was like, ‘Fashion people are coming on the Staten Island Ferry?’”
But Colin was pleased with how it turned out, sharing with the Associated Press, “It’s one of the few days where I’ve been on the boat and been like, ‘Oh, say, this is nice. This is how it can work.’”
