Eve Mungai Hints At Not Addressing Drama With Trevor

Social media influencer Eve Mungai has subtly suggested she might not publicly address the ongoing drama with video director Trevor, hinting at a preference to keep certain matters private. In a cryptic message shared on her Instagram, Eve conveyed her belief that some issues are best left unsaid.

“As bad as you wanna address it, some things are better left unsaid I’m learning,” her message read.

The hint follows a period of public scrutiny surrounding Eve and Trevor after their alleged split. Trevor recently rebranded their joint YouTube channel from Eve Mungai to Kenya Online Media, leading to questions about Eve’s role in the rebrand. Trevor made headlines when he stated he would no longer be working with Eve, citing that her services were no longer needed on various platforms including YouTube and Instagram.

When asked by a fan if he would continue working with Eve, Trevor responded with a decisive, “No! Her services are no longer needed on the following platforms. YouTube 754k subscribers, Insta Fame 104 subscribers, Facebook 874k followers.”

He confirmed in another response, “Yes,” when asked if this meant he was no longer collaborating with Eve Mungai.

This move is at odds with Trevor’s previous assurances that he would transfer the channel to Eve if their professional relationship ended. In an earlier interview, Trevor had promised that the channel, which he created, would remain Eve’s if they fell out. “I’d love for the channel to remain hers,” he had stated. “The brand is hers, the name is hers, it will therefore remain with her.”

In a bid to mend the strained relationship between Eve and Trevor, comedian Eric Omondi has offered to mediate. Omondi, who has been supportive of both influencers from the beginning of their careers, expressed his intention to resolve their issues and bring them back together. Speaking with Trudy Kitui, he reflected on his role in their growth.

“On the issue of Eve Mungai and Trevor, I feel I have the moral authority to comment. I supported Eve Mungai so much when she started. I wanted to support the growing online media and I decided to take Eve and I intentionally put in the energy so that I could grow Eve and they were with Trevor,” Omondi said. “I have seen them way back when Eve was still skinny and used to use that little lapel microphone until now that she has glowed up and Trevor has glowed up too.”
