Three people were injured, and a university building in northern Bahrain was damaged after fragments of an Iranian missile fell in the area, officials said Sunday.
The Interior Ministry reported on X (formerly Twitter) that sirens sounded in the Muharraq area in the morning, warning residents to seek shelter.
The ministry said the injuries and property damage happened when debris from the missile landed near a university building in Muharraq.
Authorities also accused Iran of targeting civilian sites, noting that a desalination plant suffered material damage in a separate drone attack.
The ministry condemned the attacks, calling them a threat to public safety and infrastructure.
