Milo Ventimiglia and his wife, model Jarah Mariano, are preparing to expand their family once again. The couple is expecting their second child, Mariano revealed in a heartfelt Instagram post over the weekend.
The announcement came as Mariano marked a special milestone — the first birthday of the couple’s daughter, Ke’ala Coral. Sharing a sun-drenched photo from a tropical setting, the 42-year-old model was seen lifting her daughter into the air while standing in shallow water. Wearing a string bikini and wide-brimmed sunhat, Mariano subtly debuted her growing baby bump, while shielding her daughter’s face with a heart emoji.
“Happy 1 year baby girl,” Mariano wrote in a deeply personal caption. She reflected on how motherhood reshaped her life, describing the profound and protective love she feels for her daughter. “This is the most unique love I’ve ever experienced,” she added, expressing hope that Ke’ala’s “radiating light” would help make the world a brighter place.
Fans and friends quickly flooded the comments section with congratulations, celebrating both the birthday milestone and the pregnancy news. Several noted that Ke’ala is set to become a “great big sister.”
The announcement arrives almost exactly one year after Mariano shared the birth of their first child — a moment made even more emotional by the challenges the family faced at the time. Shortly before welcoming Ke’ala in January 2025, Mariano and Ventimiglia were forced to evacuate their Los Angeles home due to the devastating Palisades fire, ultimately losing both their residence and a second home that was under construction.

At the time, Mariano revealed she was 38 weeks pregnant during the evacuation, describing the experience as frightening yet grounding. Despite the loss, she emphasized gratitude, noting that the family’s safety and togetherness mattered most.
Ventimiglia, 48, best known for his roles in This Is Us and Gilmore Girls, quietly married Mariano in September 2023. The couple announced their first pregnancy a year later, with Mariano sharing beachside photos captioned, “Baby on board!”
