Kibabii University has announced the death of its Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Donald Namasaka Siamba.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the university said Prof. Siamba passed away on January 24, 2026, at Hopkins Hospital in Bungoma.

Until his death, Prof. Siamba served as the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Administration, Finance and Development.
The university said details regarding the funeral and burial arrangements will be communicated at a later date.
“We kindly ask the University community and the general public to keep the bereaved family in their prayers during this difficult time. May the Almighty God grant him eternal rest,” the statement read.
