As 2025 draws to a close, Prince William and Kate Middleton have offered royal fans a rare glimpse into their year, sharing a collection of never-before-seen photographs that capture some of their most meaningful moments.
The Prince and Princess of Wales marked the occasion with a carousel of 12 images posted to Instagram on Tuesday, featuring one photo from each month of the year—a visual journey through their public duties, family milestones, and historic events.
A Year of Reflection and Service
The collection opens with a solemn image from January, showing the couple honoring Holocaust Memorial Day in London. Although not pictured, they were joined at the Guildhall service by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and prominent members of the Jewish community.
February’s highlight followed with a powerful image of Princess Kate visiting an Action for Children Mother and Baby Unit inside HM Prison Styal, reflecting her continued focus on early childhood development and family welfare.
Prince George Steps Into the Spotlight
One of the most talked-about moments in the post features Prince George, 12, alongside his father in March, as they spoke with veterans during events marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Royal watchers noted the significance of the appearance, calling it an early sign of George gradually being introduced to future royal responsibilities.
“That was quite a responsibility—to sit down and speak with veterans,” a palace insider previously said. “It was incredible to witness.”

A United Royal Front
June’s photo shows Prince William standing proudly with King Charles III and Princess Anne during the annual Trooping the Colour parade. The event carried special meaning this year amid the King’s ongoing cancer treatment, with palace sources describing the occasion as a show of resilience and unity.
It also marked Princess Kate’s first appearance at the parade since announcing her cancer remission, making the moment particularly emotional for royal followers.

Sport, Diplomacy, and Global Appearances
July’s snapshot highlighted Kate’s return to Wimbledon, where she presented Jannik Sinner with the men’s singles trophy—another milestone in her gradual return to public life.
The year’s later images captured the couple welcoming President Donald Trump during a U.S. state visit to Windsor in September, as well as a lighter moment in November showing Prince William displaying his volleyball skills during a visit to Rio de Janeiro.

Closing the Year with Gratitude
Together, the carefully curated images paint a picture of a year defined by resilience, duty, and family—offering fans an intimate look at how the Prince and Princess of Wales balanced public service with personal milestones throughout 2025.
