Taylor Swift Shares Heartfelt Letter from Fiancé Travis Kelce in New Docuseries

Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce are clearly on the same page—both in love and in life.

In the sixth episode of Swift’s Eras Tour docuseries, Taylor Swift: The End of an Era, titled “Remember This Moment,” the pop superstar, 36, revealed a romantic letter sent by Kelce, her now-fiancé, before her final three shows in Vancouver in December 2024.

In the episode, which premiered Tuesday, Dec. 23, Taylor can be seen reading the note backstage with her mother, Andrea Swift. Kelce, 36, calls Taylor “the love of my life” in the heartfelt message.

“So many unbelievable memories on this tour, but my favorite one is seeing you in concert for the first time and being mesmerized and swept off my feet by a woman who doesn’t even know me,” Taylor reads aloud, smiling beside a large bouquet of white roses.

She continues, “Selfishly I say thank you for creating this legendary tour and to Robert [Allen] for making you stop through Kansas City, Missouri. That night too in KC was the beginning of me meeting the love of my life.”

Reacting to the note, Taylor laughs and says, “Aww my God! So much for no emotions on the last three shows,” speaking to her mother as she finishes reading it off-camera.

The revelation follows a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Dec. 10, where Taylor referred to Kelce as the love of her life while reflecting on her engagement and other milestones in 2025. “Getting engaged to the love of my life, getting all my music back—those were two things that just might never have happened,” she told Colbert. “It wasn’t like, ‘Oh, it’s just a matter of time.’ Both of those things could have just never arrived in my life, and I’m so grateful for both of those things happening.”

Their story goes back to July 2023, when Kelce attended the Eras Tour at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium. He admitted on his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast that he tried—and failed—to meet Taylor in person, even creating a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. He said he was “a little butthurt” he couldn’t deliver it personally.

In a preview of the docuseries, Taylor recalled, “The most meaningful relationship I’ve ever had started with a man saying that he was butthurt that I didn’t want to meet him… Greatest surprise of my life.”

Taylor and Andrea also revealed how she was introduced to Kelce. Andrea, 67, called a cousin and Kansas City Chiefs fan to find out more about Travis, who she described as “the nicest guy! And he really loves his mom.” Andrea laughed, “Ding, ding, ding, ding… Now, how in the world am I going to get her to meet him?”

Taylor admitted she was “very non-athlete” before meeting Kelce, recalling her mother’s playful introduction: “‘Hey, I know you’re not gonna react well to this, but there’s a guy…’ He’s really cute!” Andrea added.

Reflecting on the friendship bracelet, Andrea said it was “so earnest” and “the sweetest thing,” a gesture that bridged the gap between Taylor’s world and Kelce’s. “To me that really said a lot. So I thought that was really sweet and I liked it,” she said.
