KeRRA Advertises Over 300 Job Vacancies

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) has announced more than 300 job vacancies across various departments.

In a public notice issued on Tuesday, December 23, KeRRA invited applications from qualified Kenyan citizens for positions ranging from Director to Assistant Director. The jobs are available on both contract and permanent and pensionable terms.

“Pursuant to the provisions of the Act, the Board of Directors invites applications from suitably qualified Kenyan citizens who wish to be considered for positions at the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA),” the notice reads.

KeRRA is seeking to recruit a Director General and a Director of Internal Audit on a contract basis for a period of three years.

The authority also announced several positions on permanent and pensionable terms. These include nine Deputy Directors for Roads, as well as Deputy Directors for Enterprise Risk Management, Planning, Legal Affairs, Survey, Supply Chain Management, Research and Innovation, and Administration.

Other available positions include Assistant Directors and Principal Officers in various sectors within the authority.

Interested applicants are required to submit a duly signed application letter and an updated curriculum vitae indicating at least three professional referees. Applicants must also attach copies of their academic and professional certificates, as well as a copy of their national identity card.

Applications should be sent via email to staffrecruitment@kerra.go.ke, with the job title and reference number clearly indicated in the subject line. The deadline for applications is January 13, 2025, at 5:00 pm.

KeRRA noted that detailed job descriptions and requirements are available on its website, www.kerra.go.ke.

Applicants are advised that only online applications will be accepted, and hard copy submissions will not be considered. The application letter should be addressed to the Director General, Kenya Rural Roads Authority, P.O. Box 48151–00100, Nairobi, Kenya.

Successful candidates must satisfy the requirements of Leadership and Integrity set out in Chapter Six  of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and shall be required to present the following documents before the offer letter: Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (TCC); Certificate of clearance from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB); Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI);  Dully filled and stamped Self-Declaration/Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and Clearance certificate from approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
