Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge have reportedly ended their two-year relationship, according to The Sun. The 22-year-old singer and British actor parted ways a few weeks ago, leaving friends of the couple reportedly shocked.
“It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them and they decided it’s better to be apart for now,” a source told the outlet.
Rodrigo was reportedly emotional while attending Lily Allen’s recent holiday party in London. “Olivia was at Lily’s party and emotional when she was talking about it,” the source said. “Her friends have rallied around her but it’s just been pretty rough. It’s really sad right now.”
Neither Rodrigo’s nor Partridge’s representatives immediately responded to requests for comment.
The couple was first linked in October 2023 when they were seen celebrating Halloween together in London. Sources at the time said the two met through mutual friends and quickly became “inseparable” after messaging one another.
Since then, they frequently supported each other publicly and weren’t shy about showing PDA. Their red carpet debut came at the premiere of Partridge’s film Disclaimer at the Venice Film Festival in August 2024.
In September, Partridge spoke about keeping their relationship low-key in an interview with Esquire UK. “I think [it helps], yeah, to not blow it out of proportion or not have to explain it… I just have no doubt that we’re both in a relationship for the right reason,” he said.
The Enola Holmes star also told Variety that he was comfortable being “Mr. Olivia Rodrigo,” given her massive fame. “I can handle that. I’m very happy, and I think she is too, so all is good in our world,” he said.
Before dating Partridge, Rodrigo was romantically linked to DJ and influencer Zack Bia and producer Adam Faze.
