Nikki Garcia appears to be putting speculation to rest about a possible romance with NFL player Cooper DeJean, who is 20 years her junior.
Speaking candidly on the December 18 episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, the 42-year-old WWE Hall of Famer suggested that dating has not been part of her life lately, revealing she has not been intimate with anyone in “a really long time.”
“It’s crazy because I actually haven’t been touched or done anything in so long,” Garcia shared during a conversation with her twin sister, Brie Garcia. “It’s funny when people call me a wh— when I actually haven’t had intimacy in a really long time, or even thought of kissing.”
She went on to add that it had been so long since she kissed anyone that she briefly questioned whether she still knew how. Brie quickly reassured her, joking that kissing is “like riding a bike,” prompting Nikki to quip that she might practice on a pillow just to be sure.
The comments come days after Garcia sparked online chatter with an Instagram post documenting her trip to Philadelphia. The montage included a clip of her smiling and posing in front of the locker of Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean, 22, as well as a brief moment of the two dancing and laughing together. The video was set to Alex Warren’s song Ordinary.
“So blessed for the people around me, new friends and old, who make life so special and fun,” Garcia wrote in the caption. She is the mother of a 5-year-old son, Matteo.
DeJean, an Iowa standout who celebrated his 22nd birthday earlier this year with a standout performance during the Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning run, later reacted to another post from Garcia’s trip with an eagle emoji and a heart — further fueling speculation among fans.
Garcia shares her son with her ex-husband, professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev, 43. The pair finalized their divorce in May following their separation in 2024. As part of the settlement, Garcia was ordered to pay a lump sum of $200,000 and $3,500 per month in child support.
