Hailee Steinfeld, star of Sinners, has revealed she is expecting her first child with NFL quarterback Josh Allen. The news came in a heartfelt Substack post shared Friday, celebrating her 29th birthday.
In the post, Steinfeld shared a video showing Allen kissing and cuddling her growing baby bump. She pointed to her belly as they smiled together, while a small snowman in the background served as a playful nod to the couple’s upcoming arrival. Steinfeld also wore a black jacket with “mother” emblazoned across the front, further hinting at the joyful news.
Pregnancy speculation began earlier, after Steinfeld attended the Governors Awards red carpet on November 16 wearing a gray Stéphane Rolland gown with sculpted pleats covering her stomach. Fans quickly took to social media, with one noting, “This is giving hidden pregnancy dress.”

Steinfeld and Allen, who married in Montecito, California, in late May 2025, have been together since May 2023. The Buffalo Bills quarterback proposed beneath a flower arch six months before the wedding, sharing the moment on Instagram.
While keeping their relationship largely private, the couple has gradually shared glimpses of their life together. Steinfeld, a frequent attendee at Allen’s NFL games, spoke openly about their bond in a November interview with Bustle, describing Allen as her “rock” and a “solid, consistent part” of her life.
“I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world,” Steinfeld said. “Life makes sense. Everything makes sense.”
