Kyle Cooke is speaking out to deny claims from his wife, Amanda Batula, that he spent the night at a fan’s apartment and “came home at like, 6:30 in the morning.”
“There’s no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan’s apartment,” Cooke, 43, told People in a statement on Tuesday. “I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after-party. I don’t use anything to keep myself wired, so I think I ended up falling asleep on a couch, and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m.”

“Do I regret the situation? Absolutely. But that’s the truth and the full extent of what happened,” he added.
Cooke and Batula, 34, have been at the center of Bravo’s Summer House Season 10 drama, with their marital struggles highlighted in the show’s recently released trailer. In one scene, Batula shares her account of Cooke’s night out with co-stars Lindsay Hubbard and Ciara Miller, prompting Miller to react, “That’s f—king insane.”
The teaser also explores tensions over Cooke’s career as a traveling DJ. “I wanted him to stop going out and partying, and he found a career where he goes out late and parties,” Batula admits on camera. Cooke, meanwhile, vents to co-star Carl Radke: “I played the biggest gig of my life, and Amanda couldn’t care less. I don’t know what matters to her anymore.”
An insider tells Page Six that the couple are currently living separately while navigating this “challenging time” in their relationship, but emphasized that they are “not on a break” and remain committed to working things out.
