Simone Johnson, the eldest daughter of Hollywood star and former WWE champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has officially confirmed her relationship with fellow wrestler Tatyanna Dumas on social media.
Johnson, 24, shared the news on Sunday, Dec. 7, reposting an Instagram Reel originally published by Dumas, 26. The video montage featured clips of the couple traveling together, dining out and sharing affectionate moments. “Fall in love, again and again,” Dumas captioned the reel, which shows the two hugging, kissing and smiling throughout.
Johnson added her own emotional message when she reshared the post to her account. “Crying screaming throwing up,” she wrote. “I am so lucky.”
While the pair has not disclosed when their relationship began, the footage suggests they have been together for some time. The two also made their red carpet debut as a couple in September, appearing alongside Dwayne Johnson at the premiere of his latest film, The Smashing Machine. The actor was photographed beaming as he posed with his daughter and her partner.
Last month, Johnson further hinted at the romance by including a photo of herself and Dumas in a Thanksgiving-themed Instagram post. The image showed the couple attending a University of Virginia football game with their arms wrapped around each other. “Thankful,” Johnson captioned the post.
Both Johnson and Dumas are currently featured on WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, which spotlights emerging talent preparing for future appearances on the company’s flagship programs, Monday Night RAW and SmackDown.
Johnson has long followed in her father’s professional wrestling footsteps. She began training with WWE in February 2020 after joining the company’s developmental program. The daughter of Dwayne Johnson and his ex-wife and longtime business partner Dany Garcia, she made her on-screen debut in 2022 under the ring name Ava Raine. She has since transitioned into an on-screen authority role as NXT’s fictional general manager, responsible for organizing matches and storylines.
Dumas, meanwhile, joined WWE in early 2025 after an athletic career that included professional basketball in Australia and appearances on competitive television shows such as Australian Gladiator and Ninja Warrior.
Dwayne Johnson has previously spoken publicly about how proud he is of his daughter for continuing the family’s wrestling legacy. Simone Johnson is WWE’s first fourth-generation superstar, following in the footsteps of her father, her grandfather Peter Maivia, and her great-grandfather Rocky Johnson.
“First of all, what an honor that my daughter wants to follow in my footsteps,” Johnson said during a 2020 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “But more importantly, she wants to create and blaze her own path. That’s what really matters. I’m very, very proud of her.”
