Ben Griffin, the 29-year-old professional golfer, has tied the knot with Dana Myeroff in a dreamy Palm Beach ceremony that blended refined elegance with tropical charm. The couple exchanged vows on Saturday, December 6, at The Colony Hotel, surrounded by 125 guests. Their wedding theme, described as “refined tropical luxury,” drew inspiration from design icons India Hicks and Ralph Lauren.
“Weddings are typically the one time in your life that you both have everyone you love in one place to celebrate,” Myeroff told PEOPLE. “We really wanted the guest experience to be top of mind, and for our guests, most of whom traveled from out of state, to experience the magic of Palm Beach.”
The festivities spanned several days. They kicked off on Thursday, December 4, with a family-only dinner at upscale-casual restaurant Buccan, followed by a relaxed evening at The Colony Hotel’s bar. Friday included a rehearsal lunch aboard the private yacht Mariner III and a welcome party at The Brazilian Court Hotel.
Saturday’s ceremony was “teary-eyed,” with a string trio performing Elton John’s Can You Feel the Love Tonight. Myeroff’s nephew, Wesley, served as ring bearer, while her cousin’s daughter, Blake, was flower girl.
The bride wowed in a “chic and timeless” Loyola gown by Anne Barge, styled with a veil and satin bow belt. She walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love. “I tried on this dress in the Anne Barge N.Y.C. showroom and fell in love immediately. It was exactly the elegant vibe I was looking for,” Myeroff shared. Hair and makeup were handled by Ivette Gil Beauty Design.
For the reception, Myeroff changed into a strapless scalloped taffeta gown by Clio Peppiatt with Aquazzura heels, and later donned an Alexis Lily dress paired with Manolo Blahnik ankle-wrap sandals for the afterparty at Cucina.
The couple exchanged personal vows during the ceremony, officiated by Doug Sieg, CEO of Lord Abbett, who played a pivotal role in Griffin’s golf comeback after he briefly left the sport in 2021.
Guests enjoyed sushi during cocktail hour, with a touch of whimsy added by live flamingos and a monkey—an ode to The Colony Hotel’s logo and the couple’s botanical garden-inspired décor.
At the reception, guests were invited to donate to the Ben and Dana Griffin Foundation in lieu of traditional gifts. They dined on a duet entrée and sampled a vegan wedding cake by Sweet Guilt, featuring Madagascar vanilla, rose champagne, and marble flavors. The newlyweds performed their first dance to Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s You’re All I Need to Get By after taking ballroom dance lessons in preparation for the celebration.
Griffin and Myeroff met a few years ago during a night out in Florida. After just over two years of dating, Griffin proposed in Sea Island, Georgia, arranging for both families to fly in for a surprise celebration when Myeroff said yes.
