The 69-year-old Kardashian-Jenner matriarch turned heads after sharing a photo on Instagram wearing a striking bright-purple Thierry Mugler suit, complete with a mini skirt and sharp-shouldered blazer. The archival look comes straight from Mugler’s Fall/Winter 1998 collection, a golden era for ultra-structured power dressing.
The suit embodies everything iconic about late ’80s and ’90s fashion: a sculpted pencil silhouette, cinched waist, open neckline, and dramatic peplum curves. Jenner’s bold color choice couldn’t be more fitting for the post-disco era the outfit hails from.
While Kris can command attention in anything from head-to-toe spandex to couture gowns, fans were delighted by this unexpected vintage moment. She modernized the look with nude fishnet tights, nude pointed heels, sparkling diamond earrings, and a dazzling diamond cross necklace.
