Eminem Accuses ‘RHOP’ Stars Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon of Harassment in Escalating Trademark Feud

The legal showdown between Eminem and “Real Housewives of Potomac” stars Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon just got even more heated, with the rapper now accusing the Bravo personalities of harassment as their trademark dispute continues to spiral.

Newly obtained court documents reveal that Bryant and Dixon — co-hosts of the “Reasonably Shady” podcast — claim the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ordered Eminem to sit for a deposition as part of the ongoing case. The women allege the music icon has been “very difficult” about committing to a date, calling his scheduling delays unreasonable.

After weeks of back-and-forth, both sides settled on Oct. 29. But tensions rose again when Bryant and Dixon proposed an 11 a.m. ET start time, only for Eminem — born Marshall Bruce Mathers III — to say he wouldn’t be available until 2 p.m. ET.

“Getting him to commit time to a deposition is very difficult,” the rapper’s attorney wrote in an email, adding that the Housewives should “take the opportunity when you can get him.” The attorney also suggested that the deposition should be completed in under two hours since Bryant and Dixon’s questioning lasted a combined two hours.

“If for some reason you cannot complete the deposition in two hours, we will stay as late as we have to,” Eminem’s team added.

Bryant, 55, and Dixon, 46, pushed back, calling the 2 p.m. start time “unreasonable” given typical business hours and the “one-day, seven-hour limitation” on the deposition. They accused the rapper of acting as though they should be “grateful” for whatever time he offers, calling the stance a “take-it-or-leave-it” tactic that shows a “lack of good faith.”

Eminem, however, hit back earlier this month, arguing that the Housewives’ complaints and their “insistence on filing a motion over a three-hour start-time difference” demonstrate that their pursuit of his testimony is “designed to harass.”

The feud began after Bryant and Dixon launched “Reasonably Shady” in 2021 and later filed a trademark application covering entertainment services and merchandise. In February 2023, Eminem formally opposed the filing, arguing that the name would cause confusion with his longtime “Slim Shady” and “Shady” brands — both iconic monikers he has used since the 1990s. Eminem also owns the trademark for “Shady” in merchandising categories.
