Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, had a sweet surprise moment during one of the actress’ latest interviews.
While Brown and her Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp were playing with kittens in a BuzzFeed video released Monday, a baby could suddenly be heard crying in the background. Brown, 21, calmly continued petting the kitten in her lap and told viewers, “That’s my child. That’s my kitten,” confirming the noise came from her baby.
The moment was brief, and it was the only time their daughter appeared—or was heard—in the interview.
Brown and Bongiovi adopted their daughter in August. Earlier this month, Brown told British Vogue that she plans to keep her daughter’s name private until the child is old enough to decide whether she wants to share it publicly.
“It’s really important to protect her and her story,” Brown said. “It’s not my place to put her in the spotlight unwillingly.” She added that if her daughter chooses to share more about herself in the future, she and Bongiovi would support her.
The couple did not share a photo of their baby when announcing her birth over the summer, writing on Instagram that they were “beyond excited” to begin parenthood “in both peace and privacy.”
Jake’s father, Jon Bon Jovi, said in September that the young couple, both in their early 20s, are “mature beyond their years.” On the Dumb Blonde podcast, the rock legend joked that he already asks for baby photos “every other day.”
Brown and Bongiovi married in May 2024. They began dating in 2021, got engaged in 2023, and held wedding celebrations in both the Hamptons and Italy. Before becoming a mom, Brown had openly spoken about wanting to start a family at a young age, telling the SmartLess podcast that it was something she hoped for long before meeting Jake.
